A great breakfast meal that will provide you with more than enough energy to last you until lunch time.
Pressure cooker apple streusel oatmeal
3⁄4 cup water
1 cup milk or soy milk
1 cup quick-cooking oats
2 apples, peeled, cored, and chopped, (diced is best)
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
2 tablespoons of chopped pecans
1. Add all of your ingredients to the pressure cooker.
2. Safely lock the lid into place. Bring to high pressure and maintain for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and allow pressure to release naturally.
3. Remove the lid and stir the oatmeal, adding more milk if you think you need it.
Its that simple, this serves 2 adults or one really hungry adult.
